Upper Crust Food Service is recognized as the preferred choice in food service due to our commitment to surpassing customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, which includes but is not limited to tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection ovens, flat top ranges, refrigeration units, and floors.

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, utilizing dishwashers or handwashing methods.

Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated areas.

Ensure kitchen workspaces, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and orderly.

Restock supplies, including food and utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.

Sweep and wash floors regularly.

Assist with unloading and organizing truck deliveries.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Familiarity with industry best practices.

Working knowledge of commercial dishwashing equipment.

Previous experience in restaurant dishwashing is preferred.

Possession of a valid food handlers sanitation certification may be required (subject to state/county regulations).

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally (for deliveries and inventory management).

Exposure to cleaning chemicals is expected.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Completion of high school or vocational coursework in kitchen fundamentals, such as food safety, is preferred.
