Job Summary:

This position is focused on silicon validation, debug, and root cause analysis for anomalous behaviors using system workloads.

As a Senior SoC Engineer at Apple, you will work with engineers to define validation plans, execute system tests, and characterize functional voltage of SoCs under workloads.

Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and recommend testing/screening environment changes.

  • Work with functional test writers to understand high-level architectures of IP blocks within Apple SoCs.
  • Execute system tests through scripts/automation framework on large volumes of prototype SoCs across PVT corners.
  • Characterize functional voltage (lvcc) of SoCs under system workloads and analyze data across voltage domains.
  • Collaborate with downstream testing teams to facilitate resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of relevant experience in silicon validation engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with SoC bring up, system debug, and scripting language such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Knowledge of computer architectures and logic design.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
