Medical Reimbursement SpecialistJob Summary

CornerStone Staffing is seeking a Medical Reimbursement Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the reimbursement process for healthcare services provided to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients regarding their insurance benefits, billing inquiries, and payment options.
  • Confirm accurate coding, timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
  • Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is included to support claims and facilitate payment.
Requirements
  • Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of healthcare call center experience.
  • Benefit verification - Prior Authorization.
  • Medical collections.
  • Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible.
  • PAP - patient assistance programs.
