Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Patient Care Specialist

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Lambeth House. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care activities, including assessing and orienting new residents, re-assessing residents continuously, and participating in the care planning process.
  • Supervise and guide the work of Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians, document on the medication administration record, and follow policies and procedures for pharmacy services.
  • Assist with procedures and rounds, communicate with Dietary about admissions and discharges, and answer resident call lights.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a state accredited school of Practical Nursing.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the state of Louisiana.
  • Continuing education as required by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Good physical and mental health, ability to lift/push 35 pounds, and maintain CPR certification.
