About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Neuro-Interventionalist to join our multidisciplinary team at a top academic medical center. As a Neuro-Interventionalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and participating in various medical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform neuro-interventional procedures, including acute stroke intervention, brain aneurysm embolization, carotid revascularization, fistula treatment, spine procedures, diagnostic angiography, cerebral venous procedures, and thrombolysis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, and hospitalists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the teaching of medical students and residents.
- Develop and maintain a broad neuro-interventional skill set, with a willingness to learn new techniques and participate in new procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative disposition are essential for this role.
Requirements:
- Fellowship training in endovascular surgical neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, or neuro endovascular surgery.
- Experience in neuro-interventional procedures, including acute stroke intervention, brain aneurysm embolization, carotid revascularization, fistula treatment, spine procedures, diagnostic angiography, cerebral venous procedures, and thrombolysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to teach medical students, residents, and staff.
- Interest in participating in research.
