Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at Physician Empire. As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our multidisciplinary trauma care team.
About the Opportunity:
This is a permanent opportunity to work on Lake Erie, with a 90-minute drive from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo. Our hospital is an Accredited Level II Trauma Center, and we have a highly competitive salary and benefit package to offer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as a General Surgeon
- Lead our multidisciplinary trauma care team, including trauma surgeons, orthopaedic and neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiovascular surgeons
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of trauma patients (annual trauma patient volume - 1878)
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to provide 24/7 support
- Utilize leading-edge diagnostic and testing equipment in our trauma bays
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements
Requirements:
- Board-eligible/board-certified in surgery and surgical critical care
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills
