Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Effectors Systems Design & Architecture (SDA) organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating RF systems to meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with other engineering disciplines to define requirements, interfaces, and subsystem behavior. You will also perform requirements flow down and allocation to subsystems, as well as develop the requirements traceability verification matrix. Your expertise in RF and EE systems will be essential in ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RF and EE-related system and subsystem level requirements specifications
  • Provide technical expertise in RF and EE integration, troubleshooting, and failure investigations
  • Lead technical discussions and formulate plans of action with company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure successful system integration


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains:
  • Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design
  • System performance and analysis
  • Algorithms and signal processing
  • Electronics (circuit card assemblies, subassemblies, complete systems) requirements, integration, and verification
  • RF Sensor sub-systems requirements, integration, and verification


Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Agile framework development methods/processes, Azure DevOps methods/tools, and Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python. Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance and understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle.

What We Offer

This role is eligible for relocation and offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
