Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess the health and well-being of residents, identifying any changes or concerns and taking appropriate action.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, promoting a sense of calm and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services and a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current California License as a Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in Assisted Living and Memory Care, preferably with a focus on gerontology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
