Pharmacist - Long-Term Care and Assisted Living

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for verifying prescriptions, managing drug interactions, and providing valuable medication information. As a team player, you will work closely with supervisory staff to develop and implement ideas for delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of a pharmacist working in a Long-Term Care and Assisted Living pharmacy in compliance with policy and state/federal regulations.
- Work with supervisory staff to develop and implement ideas for delivering high-quality, cost-effective services.
- Work independently; demonstrates leadership in the practice of pharmacy.
- Strong attention to detail and maintaining attention to detail in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to adapt and produce results in a fast-growing company.
- Supervises pharmacy support personnel, which includes activities performed, work allocation between staff, and work performance (quality and quantity of work).
- Delegates aspects of pharmacy practice to a pharmacy intern or pharmacy technician within the parameters of their job description.
- Implements policy and regulatory required record systems and processes for the pharmacy.
- Be available for on-call services if required.
- Other tasks as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- 2+ years as a licensed pharmacist in California in a Long-Term Care and Assisted Living is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in CA is required.
- Work in a team environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated pharmacist determined to improve care for our patients by offering services not found by our competitors.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Sacramento, CA.
- Authorized to work in the US.
