Job Description:

Unitek Technical Services is seeking a skilled Aerospace Source Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting in-process and final source inspections, including first article inspections per AS9102.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components to ensure compliance with specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
  • Perform mechanical measurement and verification of components to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Support urgent production requirements with minimal advance notification for inspection.
  • Use MS-Office and customer applications to document and track inspection results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Pass color vision test and score 20/30 or better in at least one eye, natural or corrected.
  • Complete a drug screening and criminal background check.
  • W-2 Contract: Indefinite as needed.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willing to support and travel to suppliers within a mile radius.

Job Description: Part-time Aerospace Source Inspector

Supplier locations include but not limited to: Menomonee Falls, WI to Rockford/Chicago, IL

Inspectors must have:

  • Minimum three years inspection experience.
  • The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including first article inspections per AS9102.
  • The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
  • The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.
  • The ability to support urgent production requirements with minimal advance notification for inspection (avg hrs.).
  • Use of MS-Office, and ability to learn and utilize customer applications.
Additional Requirements:
