Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Prepare the operating suite with all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring everything is in good working order.
  • Patient Care: Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients for surgery.
  • Surgical Support: Pass instruments to the surgeon during surgery and maintain accurate inventory of instruments and supplies.
  • Specimen Handling: Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
Requirements
  • Certification: Surgical Tech Certification in the state of KY
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Education: Graduate of a relevant program
