Job Overview

As a Freight Logistics Specialist at Abacus, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to provide proactive advice and consultancy to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and resolving any concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Care and Satisfaction: Provide expert advice and consultancy to customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Shipment Management: Qualify and enter customer orders into the operational process.
  • Complaint Management: Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support Customer Development & Maintenance: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Close cooperation with Branch & Area management as well as Sea Logistics operations (OCC) for an enhanced customer experience.
  • Profit Maximization – avoid additional costs & expenses due to internal service failure.
  • Financial Excellence & Development: Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the development of financial strategies.
  • Quotation Management: Qualify customer inquiries, provide quotations, and set final selling prices within the given price band.
  • Familiarization with Products & systems: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and systems.
  • Customer onboarding: Include and transfer customer requirements into systems.
  • Customer Data Management: Maintain and integrate customer data into systems.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Exchange knowledge with sales teams to enhance customer relationships.
  • Establishing and building Customer relationships (Sales support): Foster strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
  • Reporting (refining and reviewing Customer requested reports generated from Systems): Generate and review reports to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Care & Follow up on first orders & document Customer Feedback: Ensure timely follow-up on customer feedback and concerns.
  • Actively participate in regular Team community based activities: Collaborate with colleagues to drive team success.
  • Self-Development: Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Have fun & stay engaged: Maintain a positive and engaged work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree / Diploma.
  • Bachelors/First University Degree: Supply Chain Management (Preferred).
  • BU / FU: Sea Logistics 0-2 years Preferred.
  • Customer Service 0-2 years.
  • Industry 0-2 years Preferred.
  • Analytical & Organizing skills.
  • Communication & conflict resolution skills.
  • Decision Making & Problem solving skills.
  • Time Management.
  • English Fluent.
