Job Description:

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Post Falls, ID. As a key member of our clinical laboratory operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth processing of laboratory specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
• Collect and process laboratory specimens with accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate laboratory equipment and maintain a safe working environment
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure efficient specimen processing and reporting

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Professional experience in phlebotomy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment

Our laboratory setting includes automated machines and a high level of staff activity, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and walk on non-level surfaces
• Regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples
• Must be able to hear in order to monitor alarms and respond to safety hazards
• Ability to wear protective gear, including lab coat, gloves, goggles, and face shield
