Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team at BASF Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing capital projects, ensuring process safety, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with production, development, and business personnel.
  • Oversee the completion of cost estimates, project schedules, design, and construction for capital projects.
  • Ensure projects result in safe and efficient process installations that meet business needs.
  • Supervise contract engineers, construction contractors, operators, and mechanics to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Contribute to operational and safety improvements by monitoring activities and submitting project ideas.
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with project management focus in manufacturing.
  • Experience in project management, goal setting, critical path schedule development, forecasting, and tracking.
  • Knowledge of technical codes (ASME, API, etc.) and equipment/piping specifications.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations, including process safety management.
