Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at MSO - Texas Bone & Joint. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals
  • Answer telephone calls and screen referrals
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a patient care setting or active certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA)
  • Graduation from a Medical Assisting program preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
