The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) will provide nursing care to patients in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies. The ideal candidate will have a current LVN/LPN license in the practicing state and current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
Responsibilities:
- Follow established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
- Follow company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
- Document any change in patient's conditions, including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
- Utilize the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
- Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
- Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
