About the Role

ModWash is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our express car wash operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the General Manager to recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with ModWash onboarding, orientation, and training processes for all new team members.
  • Provide ongoing development, coaching, and counseling to high-potential hourly team members.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on disciplinary issues, including investigations and terminations.
  • Work with the General Manager and District Manager to drive local volume and sales through strategic community outreach and marketing efforts.
  • Ensure the site is operating safely and in compliance with all regulatory, local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Create genuine connections with guests and foster relationships through superior customer service to build membership sales.
  • Walk the site throughout the shift to ensure it is operating safely, efficiently, and up to ModWash standards of service.
  • Handle all guest issues and complaints, escalating them as needed to the General Manager and District Manager to resolve in a timely manner.
  • Partner with the District Service Manager and maintenance team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained, safely operated, and maintenance requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Car wash experience is preferred but not required.
  • Prior P&L responsibility is preferred.
  • Ability to be active and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to be on your feet for long hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
