Job Opportunity

We invite skilled professionals to apply for the position of Social Services Coordinator with our Children’s Program. This role offers a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of immigrant children and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive case plans that prioritize clients’ social needs.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure seamless integration of social services with legal representation.
  • Establish relationships with community service providers to expand resource offerings.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on accessing essential services and navigating complex systems.
  • Assist clients with preparing and understanding forms and paperwork related to their cases.
  • Participate in program development and improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on local resources and services to better serve clients.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Spanish fluency or advanced proficiency required.
  • At least two years of experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a similar context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and cultural competence.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $56,908.80 - $76,961.54, commensurate with experience. We also provide an array of benefits, including:
