Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at RSEKURE. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing applications using modern standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of applications using modern standards.
  • Share operational and maintenance responsibilities with other members of the development team.
  • Translate customer requirements into mockups and fully-functional applications.
  • Investigate and seek new, innovative ways to improve user functionality.
  • Enter actual time worked and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Monitor company email on a regular basis and respond accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with GWT, ReactJS, BackboneJS, and Rails front-end.
  • Strong foundation in Linux.
  • Experience with AWS CLI, AWS, CDK, or AWS SDK.
  • Experience with Python and Bash.
  • Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Ability to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Knowledge of Behavior and Test-Driven Development using Cucumber, RSpec, and supporting libraries.
  • Familiarity with Restful web services.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with React.
  • Experience with Apache Solr.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 14+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, and/or web application development and deployment.
  • 5+ years with Ruby, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Java, and other object-oriented languages.
  • 5+ years of experience with Rails in varying versions.
Clearance Requirements
  • TS/SCI clearance with a Full-Scope polygraph.
Work Environment

The employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Typical indoor and computer-related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment-related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries, and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
