Mental Health Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our team at ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. in the Portland Area. As a key member of our direct care team, you will work with adults who have severe and persistent mental illness, providing support and therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of life skills and therapeutic interventions
- Perform housekeeping and meal preparation tasks
- Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in crisis de-escalation training and respond to crisis situations
Requirements:
- Personal Care Associate or Residential Associate experience preferred
- Dedication to the well-being of each client and helping them meet their Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, with one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting
- Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
- Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to pass a DHS criminal background check

Work Schedule:
Full Time (40 hours per week). Days/Hours will vary and may include holidays, weekends & night shifts.
Compensation:
$22.00 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential will apply during the work hours of 10:00pm - 6:00am.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
