In your role as Chief Operations Officer, you will lead our operational initiatives, guiding the organization towards exceptional success. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will manage all facets of manufacturing, field services (including installation, service, and templating), and procurement, ensuring smooth coordination and optimal efficiency throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic direction and collaborating with department leaders to enhance operational performance across manufacturing, field services, and procurement.
  • Championing safety initiatives to empower employees to prioritize safety in every aspect of their work.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead times and adjusting workflows to meet or exceed established targets.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective measures for continuous improvement.
  • Conducting regular reviews and audits of quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Developing and executing strategies to synchronize workflow processes, ensuring efficient production stages that meet customer demand.
  • Establishing standardized work procedures and visual management systems that support principles of operational excellence.
  • Analyzing manufacturing cells to align with the specific needs of customer segments, ensuring timely delivery of customized products.
  • Guiding the implementation of tools and processes to drive strategic execution and accountability.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the organization.
  • Acting as a liaison between operations, sales, finance, and other departments to promote collaboration and alignment.
  • Preparing and presenting reports to senior management, highlighting operational performance and strategic insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, with at least five years in a senior management capacity.
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing operational strategies and driving process enhancements.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to foresee future trends and challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team building, coaching, and talent development.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Understanding of operational frameworks and principles is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment:
