Lead Radiology Technologist Opportunity

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Radiology Technologist to oversee the CT and X-ray imaging departments.

About the Role:

As the Lead Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for leading a team of technologists and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to drive the efficiency and excellence of the CT and X-ray departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the CT and X-ray departments, ensuring high standards of patient care and imaging quality.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce precise diagnostic images.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of radiology technologists, providing guidance and support for professional development.
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and meets regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret imaging results and deliver accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement protocols and procedures to enhance workflow and imaging quality.
  • Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand procedures and feel at ease.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements through ongoing training and education.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
  • Extensive experience in CT and X-ray imaging, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
