Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Imaging Departments: Ensure high standards of patient care and imaging quality in the CT and X-ray departments.
  • Operate Advanced Imaging Equipment: Produce precise diagnostic images using advanced imaging equipment.
  • Supervise and Mentor Radiology Technologists: Provide guidance and support for professional development and ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Maintain Imaging Equipment: Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained and meets regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and Physicians: Interpret imaging results and deliver accurate diagnoses.
  • Develop and Implement Protocols: Enhance workflow and imaging quality by developing and implementing protocols and procedures.
  • Patient Education and Support: Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand procedures and feel at ease.
  • Monitor and Maintain Patient Records: Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of patient records.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends and advancements through ongoing training and education.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technology Program: Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT): Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
  • Extensive Experience in CT and X-ray Imaging: Must have extensive experience in CT and X-ray imaging, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
  • Ability to Manage a Fast-Paced Environment: Must be able to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
