Position Overview

Department: Training and Development

Supervision: Reports to assigned internship supervisor

Key Responsibilities
  • Undergraduate interns may be eligible for a compensated internship in roles related to case management, care coordination, crisis intervention, educational services, early childhood support, and psychosocial programming.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
  • Complete mandatory online and in-person training sessions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and notes as required
  • Participate in supervision and team meetings as directed
  • Notify the supervisor of any absences or schedule changes
  • Establish defined internship hours in line with university field placement requirements
  • Punctually attend the internship as scheduled
  • Comply with confidentiality and privacy regulations
  • Ensure client rights are upheld.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, family studies, addiction counseling, or a related field.
  • Maintaining good academic standing at an accredited institution.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated interest and experience in working with youth and families
  • Familiarity with child and adolescent development principles
