Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and lifting techniques for items weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Conduct thorough check-ins of products, ensuring compliance with quality control standards (expiration dates, temperature specifications, box condition) and accuracy.

  • In the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor, manage all receiving operations, including but not limited to financial transactions, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Communicate any modifications to purchase orders, including early or late arrivals, shortages, overages, and quality concerns.
  • Exhibit reliability and teamwork, stepping in as needed and fully engaging in the workplace. Show eagerness to acquire new skills for personal and organizational growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in all powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and adaptability to warehouse management software.
  • Capacity to lift up to 100 lbs while adhering to proper lifting protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Comfortable operating machinery at heights of up to 25 feet.
  • Able to perform tasks in cold storage environments.

Compensation:

  • $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 AM until completion (typically around 2:30 PM)

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Capability to use hands for handling and feeling objects, perform fine motor movements, reach with hands and arms, and possess the ability to see, speak, and hear.
  • Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods, with temperatures as low as -10°F.
  • Normal vision, with or without correction, and the ability to distinguish colors.
  • Fluent in English, with strong writing and communication skills necessary for effective job performance.
