We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to fill a Charge Nurse position at our facility. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident condition and identify potential issues
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure accurate narcotic reconciliation
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Supervise and monitor nursing staff to ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures
- Initiate and complete incident reports as necessary
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care outcomes
- Active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
