Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Chef to join our team at Enlivant. As a Lead Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality meals are prepared and presented to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the kitchen staff and ensure that all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards.
- Manage food ordering, receiving, and inventory to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality food service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of culinary experience, preferably in a senior living or skilled nursing environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly and do occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to stand for at least 80% of the scheduled shift.
- Ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dining services in a Chef, Cook, Sous Chef, or Dietary Aide role.
- Restaurant, food service, or banquet experience helpful.
- Experience in a senior living or skilled nursing culinary environment a plus.
- Hospitality and supervisory experience a plus.
