Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled
- Review job descriptions for vacancies and assist with the development and revision of specifications
- Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates
- Draft recruitment advertisements and post them in the most effective digital and/or print media
- Formulate strategies to source candidates and identify qualified candidates through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
- Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers and maintain contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
- Vet potential employees' credentials and provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
- Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills
- Ability to deliver high volume/high quality candidates under tight timelines
- Ability to source and connect with qualified candidates
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Highly organized in planning and time management with the ability to multitask
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting technical positions for the Intelligence community and government contracting industry
- Experience facilitating contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical and/or human resources field or equivalent work and technical experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with six years of related full cycle recruitment experience in federal contracting industry
- In lieu of a degree, additional years of related technical recruitment in federal contracting industry
- Associate degree and 8 years of related experience or high school diploma and 10 years of related full cycle recruitment in federal contracting industry
