Job Summary

As a Pharmacology Tutor at the Commonwealth of Virginia, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their academic journey. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions to students who require additional assistance in advanced pharmacology principles. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive class previews to address student queries before exams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide personalized tutoring sessions to students in need of extra support in advanced pharmacology principles
Develop and deliver comprehensive class previews to address student queries before exams
Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree
Valid nursing license
2 years of clinical experience as an RN in the ICU
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as an employee at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

Greater than 30 credits of coursework in nurse anesthesia
