Job Title: Ontario Convention Center Concessions/Banquet Server

This is a hands-on position that requires providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
  • Follow instructions for each event as given by the Food & Beverage Manager/Assistant Manager/Banquet Captain.
  • Assist with collecting and preparing banquet equipment, including flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces.
  • Prepare garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
  • Prepare and set up event rooms as necessary.
  • Prepare tables with place settings as instructed by the Food & Beverage Manager and/or Banquet Captain.
  • Attend pre-function meetings for event briefings.
  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times.
  • Remain at assigned stations and perform duties as assigned according to each event.
  • Report any customer concerns and/or complaints to the Banquet Captain.
  • Break down tables and banquet equipment after each event.
  • Clean and return serving pieces to proper storage areas.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) months work experience in a service-oriented environment.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:

This position requires performing repetitive eye/hand coordination, daily lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. above shoulder level for up to 5 minutes at a time, constant standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and handling objects.
