Position: Security Officer

Work Type: Full Time
FTE: 1.00
Shift: Night
Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the guidance of the Security Director, the Security Officer is tasked with monitoring all designated areas within the facility. The Officer is expected to react promptly to all emergency calls and codes, adhering to established protocols and policies. Responsibilities include enforcing facility regulations, conducting investigations, and reporting findings to management. The Security Officer will also communicate safety concerns to the Director and ensure the operational status of communication devices, vehicles, and safety equipment. Additional duties may involve assisting customers and performing other assigned tasks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Pennsylvania state driver's license is mandatory.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of a police academy or security training program is preferred.
  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience in law enforcement or security is desirable.
