Bay Terrace Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time Client Relations Specialist.
The working hours for this role are from 11:30 AM to 8 PM.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Relations team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional guest experience from the moment of admission through to discharge.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service abilities, engaging with patients, families, and staff to facilitate a smooth transition into our facility. Responsibilities include leading our Ambassador Rounds initiative, ensuring readiness of rooms for new admissions, educating families about our services and departments, and serving as the primary contact for inquiries. This role acts as a bridge between departments and families, supporting the admissions process, proactively meeting with new patients, and fostering positive interactions to encourage favorable feedback and share success stories. Client Relations Specialists must be professional, approachable, and adept at managing various communication scenarios alongside administrative duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily Ambassador Rounds to confirm room readiness for new admissions.
- Assist patients and families during the admission process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Familiarize oneself with the roles of staff members to effectively address needs.
- Complete various administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills necessary for completing required tasks.
- Support the admissions and activities departments with tours, documentation, and engagement efforts.
Uniforms will be provided for this position.
This role reports directly to the Admissions Director.
