Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. Under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses, the LPN will assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Document patient encounters, responses, and effectiveness of care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred
