Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. Under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses, the LPN will assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
- Administer medications and interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
- Document patient encounters, responses, and effectiveness of care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred
