Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Grafton, OH. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Compensation: $65-$70 per hour
Job DescriptionAs a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced correctional setting. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, and you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement patient care plans, taking into account the individual needs and goals of each patient.
- Perform advanced nursing duties, including routine physical examinations, evaluating chronic conditions, and prescribing medications as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care, including laboratory, x-ray, and diagnostic testing.
- Document medical information accurately and maintain required medical records.
- Provide clinical direction to registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and other caregivers.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program and certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice.
- At least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care and/or hospital medicine.
Working Conditions: This position requires working in a secure institutional setting, which may expose you to unpredictable behavior of violent inmates. You will be required to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
