Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Summer Camp Assistant to join our team. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule of 20-40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities: As a Summer Camp Assistant, you will spend approximately 80% of your time engaging with children in the classroom. Your duties will include helping instructors teach Snapology programs, monitoring students as they use learning materials and equipment, and maintaining discipline in accordance with our rules and procedures.
Inventory Support: You will also spend about 20% of your time organizing and prepping Snapology's learning materials, managing inventory records, and assembling class materials for our summer camps.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You should also be able to lift up to 10 pounds over head and properly calculate basic math problems (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Qualifications: A current or willing-to-complete background check is required. You should be able to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, communicate effectively orally and in writing, and report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
Work Schedule: This position has a varied work schedule depending on program timing. May require some weekend and evening work.
Compensation: $15.00 - $15.00 per hour
