Engineering Summer Internship

Murphy Oil Corporation is seeking highly motivated and talented students to participate in our Engineering Summer Internship program. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects with hands-on participation in Murphy's core businesses. You will be paired with a mentor and a group of other professionals to make recommendations for further activities related to engineering and/or operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project teams to develop and implement engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers to gain knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to the development of recommendations for further activities related to engineering and/or operations
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university program for the duration of the internship
  • Minimum twelve (12) continuous weeks' availability for internship
  • Candidates for this U.S. position must be a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee
