The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in Houston, TX.



This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conventional and design-build projects, working with top Engineering associates on a variety of innovative Texas roadway and/or Aviation design projects.



Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine calculations and apply basic engineering principles to support project development
  • Prepare and revise plan documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collect and analyze data to inform project decisions
  • Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to support engineering tasks
  • Provide support to engineering and project management associates, contributing to project success

Qualifications:

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2.5 GPA or above
  • Prior internship or related experience in transportation design and engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Specific interest in Transportation/Roadway Design and/or Airfield Design
