Job Overview

Position: Equipment Support Technician
Company: IMS People
Location: Remote

In this position, you will cultivate and sustain professional relationships with designated clients. The primary goal is to effectively convey solutions related to the proper upkeep of machinery, repairs, and management of parts orders, including logistics.

You will also conduct follow-up communications to assist clients through the maintenance and repair process, aiming to minimize operational downtime. Additionally, you will be responsible for the assembly of specific machinery and assist in inventory management. The Equipment Support Technician will report directly to the Solutions Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a strong mechanical understanding.
  • Operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and management.
  • Propose enhancements for ongoing improvements in equipment and parts inventory management.
  • Assist in the creation of training and troubleshooting documentation for clients.
  • Act as a primary resource for clients to resolve equipment and/or operator-related challenges.
Client-Centric Approach:

Ensure to follow up with clients after providing solutions to confirm that equipment is fully operational.

  • Keep clients informed when necessary, such as regarding equipment winterization.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Challenge yourself to achieve high performance.
  • Foster and support a safety culture where all incidents are preventable.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Strong mechanical understanding.
  • Interest in working with Pest Management Products and Innovations.
  • Interpersonal skills suitable for supporting competitive innovations in a positive and ethical manner with a strong customer focus.

Education: High School Diploma; Associate's Degree preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Training Provided:
  • Hands-on training with the Solutions Manager.
