Position Summary

We are currently in search of a Patient Care Technician to provide essential support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, height, and weight; track and record fluid intake and output.
  • Identify and react to emergency situations in accordance with established emergency protocols. Deliver patient care as assigned, ensuring accurate documentation of nursing activities in patient records. Assist in maintaining medical records, including filing and updating demographic information, as well as processing laboratory, X-ray, and EKG forms.
  • Prepare examination areas in advance of patient visits.
  • Facilitate patient check-ins and transfers as directed.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, weight, and blood pressure.
  • Gather and document patients' current medical history, medication history, primary complaints, allergies, and vital signs on the appropriate forms.
  • Ensure examination rooms are stocked and maintained regularly.
  • Input demographic data into the system upon patient check-in; document diagnosis and discharge time upon patient release.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid CNA License.
  • Current BLS certification.
