As a Stores Executive Intern, you'll have the opportunity to experience firsthand what it's like to lead a retail team within a Target store. This paid 40-hour/week, hands-on training program is designed to develop and prepare you for a store leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of hourly team members and team leaders to deliver exceptional guest service and sales results
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency
- Recruit, select, and talent manage hourly team members and leaders
- Partner with store leaders to set goals and expectations, and work together to achieve them
- Take the initiative to learn and grow, seeking out opportunities for development and feedback
- How to drive guest experience and impact store financial, team, and operational performance
- How to lead and motivate a team, drive sales results, merchandise products, and provide an exceptional experience for guests
- How to develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency
- Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within Target stores in management
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leaders
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
