Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Humanities to teach courses in engaging and innovative ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values and an understanding of culturally responsive teaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Humanities or a master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate hours in the discipline/qualifying fields to include 6+ graduate hours in each of at least two of the following discipline/qualifying fields: Classical Studies, Literature (English or World), Fine or Performing Arts, History (Intellectual or Cultural), Philosophy, and Religion.
  • Ability to perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.
