We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care to critically ill patients, including those with complex medical conditions.
- Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize advanced critical care skills, including sedation and patient transport.
- Function as a critical responder to trauma activations, rapid responses, and other high-acuity situations.
- Participate in professional governance councils, committees, and staff meetings to influence decision-making and improve bedside clinical practice.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in critical care or emergency nursing required.
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification required.
- Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) required within 90 days of hire.
- Driver's License required.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse certification.
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
