Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate patient flow by promptly seating patients and initiating procedures.
  • Assist in the application of elastic ties, chains, and wires.
  • Prepare teeth for the bonding of orthodontic appliances.
  • Monitor patients for loose brackets and bonds, and provide oral hygiene instructions.
  • Ensure all instruments are delivered to sterilization for proper cleaning.
  • Maintain well-stocked and organized treatment areas.
  • Conduct post-appointment debriefs with patients and guardians.
  • Perform radiographic imaging and capture necessary clinical photographs.
  • Document patient notes and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Address any inquiries from parents regarding treatment plans.
  • Support the orthodontist during various procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the orthodontist during appointments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment.
  • Participate in daily operational tasks as assigned by the Clinic Coordinator.
  • Engage in team meetings and collaborative discussions.
  • Adhere to established office protocols and represent our practice positively.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, organized, and possess a positive demeanor.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
