Orthodontic Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining patient flow and ensuring a smooth appointment experience
  • Prepare teeth for bonding and orthodontic procedures
  • Monitor patient oral hygiene and instruct on proper brushing techniques
  • Deliver instruments to sterilization and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Take X-rays, photos, and iTero scans as needed
  • Chart patient notes and schedule appointments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and staff
  • Assist the Orthodontist in procedures and anticipate their needs
Requirements:
  • 1 year of dental assisting experience (orthodontics preferred)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Great public relations skills and ability to work well with patients and team
  • Experience in delivering high-level customer service
