Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Dietary Aide with strong customer service skills and solid work history to join our Foodservice Operations team at Powerlink, a provider of healthcare-integrated services for long-term care and senior living facilities.


The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use and cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and modified textured foods and liquids. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and assisting dietary cooks as necessary.


To be considered, applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of two years of experience in customer service. Additionally, they must have a minimum of one year of food service experience and be able to speak, read, and write English effectively.


A valid ServSafe certification or Food Handler certification is preferred, but not required. Experience working in a long-term care environment is also an asset. We offer competitive compensation and benefits to our employees.


This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible hours. As we value teamwork and independence, the successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with others and make decisions independently.
