About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Support Assistant to join our team at The Pennant Group. In this critical role, you will provide emotional and practical support to patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and comfort during times of need.

**Job Responsibilities:**
  • Deliver patient-centered care, promoting dignity, respect, and compassion in all interactions.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, respecting patients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any concerns to healthcare teams.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

**Requirements:**
  • Certifications in home health aide (HHA) or certified nursing assistant (CNA) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient care or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for building trust with patients and families.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $38,000 - $48,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The Pennant Group offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
