Job Opportunity

Soliant is collaborating with a charter school network in Texas, seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students in several schools within a cluster.

This is a great opportunity for SLPs who want to be part of a mission to bring different education models to a sector of the wider community.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP goals at IEP meetings.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a student's progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Texas State Board of Education.
