BAS Controls Specialist

Job Summary:
Insight Global is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a key member of our construction engineering company, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose system performance through observation, testing, and setup
- Perform planned maintenance and inspections utilizing hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets
- Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls while communicating with stakeholders to customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in BAS Controls for commercial construction
- Hands-on experience configuring/programming within Building Automation Systems (BAS) (Distech, Tridium Niagara)
- Hands-on experience with one or more controls platforms (Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet, etc.)
- General controls, installations, troubleshooting, and repair experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree in a related field
- Tridium AX/N4, Distech, or Siemens Certification
- Fundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low-voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation
