Job Overview

Position Summary
The role involves managing the assignment and removal of local 10-digit telephone numbers for clients as needed. The specialist will identify numbers that are transitioning to different service providers and ensure the porting process is executed smoothly. Maintaining the accuracy of the database is crucial, along with organizing all porting documentation effectively. Updates from both internal staff and external number providers, as well as customer information, must be reflected in the database as necessary.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily reports detailing customers in the porting process.
  • Prepare accounts and phone numbers for porting, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Keep precise and well-organized historical records.
  • Engage in communication with number providers, outreach personnel, and occasionally customers.
  • Handle emails promptly, assigning and removing local 10-digit telephone numbers as required.
  • Create daily and weekly reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Test telephone numbers to verify proper connectivity, ensuring successful transfer and completion of porting.

Supervisory Role

  • This position does not entail supervisory duties.

Travel Expectations

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree (4 Year)
