About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Central Missouri Home Health, a part of LHC Group. This is a full-time opportunity to provide patient care services in a home health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing the practice of speech therapy.
  • Assess patient progress and make adjustments to the therapy plan as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
